Greggs coffee, Inexperienced staff on a busy Sunday. One cooking the other serving, we had to cancel breakfast and walk out. Also turkey and bacon (Halal) omelettes..what! I was Christian last time I checked and Muslims don't like dirty pigs anyway, strange combo.
Good coffee, great cakes and if you like fruit smoothies they have a big selection which is a nice option in this kind of shop.
The fresh orange was nice. They literally made it on the counter with fresh oranges. A bit of the same effort could have been made with the food and it would be a great place. We ordered soup and a sandwich, both felt basic but for the price it was OK. Nice location and atmosphere however.
Our food took an hour to come out and came one at a time, so one person would finish their food before the next came out. The waitress came over to explain that there were no avocados left, so one of our group asked to change their order which was acknowledged but then not followed through. Another had asked for a full breakfast which came out with items missing, and when they asked for the extra items, was just told that breakfast was over so they didn't have those items even though their breakfast is on their all day menu. They then brought items out to another table that had ordered and came in after us that had food on that they had told us was unavailable. There were multiple vegan options on the menu but when one of the party tried to order them there was none left. This was at noon so there should be no reason that they run out of food this early. The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other and we repeatedly asked if it could be turned down, and again the request was acknowledged and not followed through.
A wonderful experience! I went here for my best friend's 11th birthday party and i had a really great time. There are so many delicious desserts and drinks. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Would love to go again sometime! :)
