I got food poisoning from this restaurant. Have been sick for the past day after dining last night. Ordered the gnocchi which came more like a potato pancake. Also my friend and I ordered a Moscow mule, which is a standard bar drink, but it was served with gin and some weird tasting lemonade. Hard to say whether it was the food or drink that made me sick but both were sub-par and expensive. Very strange experience given that the breakfast is great.
Limited menu, small portions but nice food. Used to be better when it's menu was broader.
We had a Christmas lunch with work at OXBO. The service was great no questions on that; staff always happy to help, very friendly and available every moment. Our food was delicious fresh and well made. However, theres no big selection for vegetarians and vegans. We had a small paper menu instead of the actual one that included 3 courses with a glass of bubbly. But still there was one plate from fist and mains for vegans. No vegetarian alternative. Other than that everything was great.
This is my second time having dinner at this restaurant. Last year I had a pea soup but I still proud to my friends about is the best bowl of soup I have ever had. This evening I enjoyed a delicious steak with shallots followed by a peach dessert that said my tongue dancing in its delicious flavour. Food is so good. End Oxbo is about quality in both taste and experience. I found both of my dinners memorable. If you are in this part of London and enjoy reasonable prices with delicious food I recommend you plan for a visit.
Set menu was not clear as a number options came with extra charges. The steak was quite dry and the fries had too much salt. Nice atmosphere friendly courteous staff.
